Welcome to Hebridean Weather!

The website is managed by Giuseppe Petricca, 34 years old, a weather enthusiast since childhood.

The author moved to the Isle of Lewis in 2016, to complete his studies, and was immediately fascinated by the always-changing weather conditions of the Hebrides!

This website was created after the development of a dedicated Scotland high resolution forecast model (WRF) together with the acquisition of a new professional weather station.

It is addressed to everyone who is interested in this subject, just to know what weather we will be having in the coming days, or to go a little bit deeper into the fascinating field of meteorology.
